All over NC, children in 3rd through 8th grade (plus 10th grade) will be taking their End of Grade tests during the month of May. Here are some ideas to encourage children to just try their best and not stress about these tests! The teachers I worked with not administering tests to students would adopt a class and each morning the children in their class would provide a positive message to the children taking tests. Maybe your classroom could do this as well!! Oh... by the way parents...if your child is taking these tests, you too could send one of these items with them each day or before they leave for school!!
