Fill In The Blank Friday (A Meme Of Sorts)!!

I'm heading over to The Little Things We Do so I can do Fill in the blank Friday with Lauren!

1. My go to outfit for a dress-up occasion like a wedding is my beige silky pantsuit.  I wore it to a wedding I attended with Prissy several years ago and just love it!

2. This week has been productive.  I went to Bman's to cook with her, started cleaning windows and curtains, bought a Click Free and backed up all my photos, had dinner with the family and such!!

3. When it’s dinnertime and I’m feeling lazy I’ll usually eat a bowl of cereal (if Harley Man is out of town) or I prepare eggs, bacon and biscuits.  Love breakfast for dinner!!

4. My favorite pair of shoes are my flip flops for summer and my black boots for winter.  Just can't do the 5 inch heel thing!!

5. A random item that I own that is completely unnecessary,but that I could never part with is my Teddy Bear collection.  I don't need them but I've loved collecting them over the years!!


6. My favorite person is my husband and of course, my two girls, my parents, oh goodness...just too many to name!  I know that's more than one but it's how it is!!!

7. If I were going to write my own blank it would say  A place I plan to visit in the next 5 years is _________________.

Questions:

1.  What feature of the opposite sex do you notice first?
Hmm, interesting question.  When I meet someone (regardless of the sex), I try not to focus on one feature....instead I try to notice what kind of vibe I get from them, like the way they carry themselves, move and interact with their surroundings.  Since I don't appreciate someone focusing on just one feature about me, I try to make sure I don't do that to a person.

2.  Do you talk to yourself?
Sure do!!!!

3.  What is your current relationship status?
Married for 37 1/2 years!

4.  Do you have a garden?
No...but I've been thinking about starting one next spring.  Nothing fancy; just tomatoes, cucumbers, squash, radishes, melons.

5.  What is your favorite licorice flavor?
I don't eat licorice that often but when I do...it's strawberry.

Meet Me On Monday!!

For those of you who aren't bloggers, an Internet meme is an idea that is propagated through the World Wide Web. Being new to the blog world, I didn't know about memes either.  As I began reading other blogs, I found there are meme lists everywhere!  That's how I began "Post-It Note Tuesday", "Wordless Wednesday" and "Thankful Thursday"!!!  It's a great way to connect with other women and read some incredible blogs from all over the world.

Today, I am adding "Meet Me On Monday".  Every Sunday Never Growing Old  posts five get to know you questions I can copy and paste into my own Monday post, link up to her post and learn a little more about other bloggers!!!!  Here goes!!!










Questions:

1.  What is your favorite yogurt flavor?

 I love just about every flavor of yogurt made...they are all my favorites as long as they are low in   calories!!!  

2.  Ankle or knee socks? and on the same theme, white socks or coloured??
When I wear socks..which is only in winter...mine are black ankle socks.  I'm not big on white socks or patterned socks. 

3.  How is the weather right now?
Beautiful...the heat wave is over for at least this week.  Currently, it's 81°...with a clear sky!!

4.  Are you a fast typer?
Yes, although I haven't timed myself in years.  Thanks to that good ole typing class in high school, I manage to type about 50+ words a minute at this point, I think.  Hmmm, maybe I should take a timed test to see if that's accurate.  NOT!!!!

5.  Red or White Wine?
I prefer white wine but will drink a merlot on occasion.  Wine connoisseur I am not however, it is something I've always wanted to learn more about.  Think I'll put that on my "bucket list"!!
